Most of us can say we have spent time waiting tables, bartending or hosting. It's the American way. I spent years working my way through college as a server. Amazing people made a huge impact on my life. Occassionally I would get that one tip that made the week less stressful.
It's something I will never forget.
It's a wonderful profession that takes patience, kindness and a multitude of skills that transfer easily in any career.
Now that I own my own business, I am always looking for ways to give back. Everyone enjoys treating themselves to a night out. It's a fabulous time to sit back and let someone else do the work. Those hardworking people have families, goals, dreams and of course, bills.
