❤️❤️SugarBelle wants To Go To School❤️❤️

One of the most important responsibilities of being a small business owner, to me, is earning the loyalty and support from your small town. Just owning or opening a small business doesn't come with the blessing of immediate support. It shouldn't. Like all relationships, trust must be built, earned and fostered . SugarBelle has always taken that responsibility extremely seriously.
Yes, small businesses are the backbone of a community, but the community is the heart of small business.
This year as part of our August Back to School event, we are looking for a special teacher to allow us to sponsor a class for the 2020 year. We want to offer ourselves as book readers, event sponsors, bad day helpers and even Pizza Party suppliers. We want to be there for her/him and her/his students. Myself and my staff want to offer our time and ability to help make this year special for both teacher and students.
We are offering the following:
1. One day a month of myself or SugarBelle staff member reading aloud, assisting with classroom projects or speaking about business or other topic suggested by teacher.

2. $100 Visa Gift Card to assist teacher with additional supplies.
3. 2 Sponsored Pizza Parties, where SugarBelle provides all food and drink at date chosen by teacher.
4. $200 Student need stipend- SugarBelle will provide up to $200 for student necessities such as clothing, shoes, glasses, personal items, school supplies as recommended by teacher.
5. Lastly, but not at all the least...the teacher will receive special gifts throughout the year to let him/her know that SugarBelle appreciates all that is done that is often not seen.
Help us choose this years Teacher/Class by commenting or sharing this blog!! Winner announced August 9th!!

My friend, Kim Morris, is an AMAZING teacher. She is so deserving of someone to love her classroom and students as much as she does. She balances life and work and kids.. somehow she still finds time to be a great friend!

Kimberly Morris, is the 3rd grade teacher at Beaufort Academy! She is an amazing person and teacher. She is so patient and kind with the children. She never raises her voice. She works great with both boys and girls. She made my son LOVE to read. LOVE to READ! He stays up every night with a flash light reading in bed.
She also has 2 children of her own, one under the age of 2.
She works out at Earth Fit so she can keep up with the kids…
    She is amazing

Blaire Lent at The Complete Student, LLC. Blaire has spent her career working with children of all ages and abilities. She started a tutoring business that evolved into a school. The school has evolved into an accredited private school (final approval coming this fall) that incorporates a project based curriculum written and developed by Blaire. The school focuses on a diploma tract (getting students not bound for college through high school with marketable skills to enter the workforce or go to technical/community college) and a college prep tract (she will lead students once a month through her SAT/ACT prep to prepare them to take these tests that are necessary to get into college). She is just an exceptional human being with a level of awareness and kindness that blows me away.

Jordan Bostick of Beaufort Elementary School…she is a special education self contained teacher who has touched not only my life but those of her students and those around her. She single handily brought project unify to our school her first year at the school, she has had many students pass gen ed testing, she is pregnant this year with her first child and still wants to make sure the year is wonderful with her students. I would love this for her since I know I won’t be able to give her the help I have given her the last couple of years!
